The Client
She had five children, and today, she lives a happy life, but her past still weighed heavily on her. She wanted to write her story, not only to share the depths of her trauma but to show others that there is hope, no matter how dark one’s past may be.
The Journey
Through extensive interviews, we discussed the painful moments of her life, the abuse, the helplessness, and the journey to faith. The challenge was balancing the emotional weight of her experiences with the message of hope that she wanted to convey.
However, the process of revisiting her past became too emotionally overwhelming. Despite her strength and determination, the trauma she carried made it difficult to complete the interviews necessary for the book. Every step forward required confronting immense pain that she was not yet ready to face.
The Progress Made
However, due to the emotional toll, we had to pause the project. While much of her story remains to be written, the existing manuscript serves as raw and powerful proof of her resilience.
