Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 6, 2026
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
The Writing King (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://thewritingking.com (“Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information, your choices regarding your data, and your rights under applicable laws.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Data
We may collect personally identifiable information, including:
- ► First and last name
- ► Email address
- ► Phone number
- ► Business or personal information you voluntarily submit via forms, email, bookings, or blog comments (name, email, and comment content)
- ► Appointment booking details you provide when scheduling a call or podcast recording on this site, including your answers to booking form questions
Partial Form Entries
When you begin filling out a booking form on this site, the information you have typed so far may be saved as you go, even if you do not complete the booking. We use these partial entries solely to diagnose booking problems and, occasionally, to follow up with someone who clearly intended to book and was interrupted. Partial entries are automatically deleted when you complete your booking, are stored in limited numbers with the oldest removed automatically, and can be deleted on request.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Comments are checked through the Akismet anti-spam service. An anonymized hash of your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it; after your comment is approved, your Gravatar profile picture is visible publicly with your comment. Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically.
Embedded Content
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as YouTube or Streamable videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the other website: those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, particularly if you are logged in to an account there.
Usage Data
We collect data on how the Service is accessed and used. This may include:
- ► IP address
- ► Browser type and version
- ► Device type and operating system
- ► Pages visited, time and date, time spent on pages
- ► Referring websites
- ► Diagnostic and crash data
Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts to:
- ► Maintain sessions
- ► Remember preferences
- ► Improve security
- ► Analyze usage
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to cookies that save your name, email, and website so you do not have to re-enter them next time; these last one year. This site does not offer visitor accounts or registration.
You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality.

Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely. Booking records are retained as business records of the appointments held. Partial (incomplete) booking form entries are retained only in limited numbers, with the oldest automatically removed, and are deleted when a booking completes.
7. Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ. By using our Service, you consent to such transfers.
