My client was a world-famous musician, a rock star with platinum records and decades of industry experience. He’d written the first novel in a science fiction series on his own, and wanted professional help turning the next installment into a convincing, polished work of fiction.

He came to me not for ghostwriting in the traditional sense, but for deep creative partnership, someone who could help turn his ideas into a story structure, develop characters, build worlds, and tighten the timeline.

We spent months immersed in brainstorming, outlining, and sculpting the narrative. Early on, it became clear that the sequel couldn’t pick up where the first book left off, the story needed an in-between volume to properly evolve the characters and universe. Although the manuscript wasn’t completed, we developed a tight narrative spine, key character arcs, and an inventive science fiction world. It was shaping up to be a worthy continuation, if not improvement, on the first book.
