Actor: Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan was born in Romania and moved to the United States at twelve, and played Bucky Barnes across nine Marvel appearances, a character who begins as a supporting friend and becomes a brainwashed assassin.

The Winter Soldier gives him almost no dialogue and requires the entire performance to be physical, which he manages.

The recent independent work has been a deliberate and successful pivot: A Different Man, in which he plays a man with neurofibromatosis, and The Apprentice, playing a young Donald Trump, earned him a Best Actor nomination.

He was nominated for a Golden Globe for Pam and Tommy and has moved into character work faster than most franchise actors manage.
