Michael Rooker played the title role in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, a genuinely disturbing low-budget film shot in Chicago, and worked as a janitor during production. Cliffhanger and Mallrats followed, and James Gunn has cast him repeatedly, giving him Yondu in the Guardians films, whose funeral is that trilogy’s best sequence.
