Actor: Anthony Daniels

Anthony Daniels is the only performer to appear in every numbered Star Wars film, playing C-3PO across five decades.

The original costume was made of rigid plastic that cut him repeatedly, and he has described the first film’s shoot in Tunisia as physically miserable.

He initially disliked the role and has since become its most enthusiastic advocate, writing a memoir about it. He was a drama student who took the job reluctantly after being unimpressed by the concept art.
