Writer: Christopher Yost

Christopher Yost wrote extensively for Marvel comics and animation before features, and co-wrote Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok, which sit at opposite ends of the character’s tonal range.

He also wrote Max Steel and worked on Marvel’s animated series, and the comics background gives him unusual familiarity with the material’s deep continuity.

The Dark World is generally considered the weakest Marvel entry, and Ragnarok among the strongest, which illustrates how much of a franchise script is determined by the director’s register.
