Now You See Me (2013)
2013 Louis Leterrier heist thriller. Four illusionists pull off bank robberies during stage shows.
Boaz Yakin wrote The Punisher and The Rookie early, then directed Fresh, a small film about a twelve-year-old drug runner that uses chess as its structural metaphor and refuses to sentimentalise its subject.
He directed Remember the Titans and Safe, and co-wrote Now You See Me, moving between studio assignment and personal work throughout.
Fresh is the one to seek out. It was made for very little and its final scene is among the best endings in 1990s American independent film.
