Patrick Lussier worked as Wes Craven’s editor on Scream and its sequels before directing, and the cutting in his own films reflects that training.

Dracula 2000 and My Bloody Valentine 3D are the horror credits, the latter one of the more committed uses of the 3D revival, staging its gags specifically for the format instead of treating depth as an afterthought.

He also co-wrote Terminator Genisys. His work is unpretentious genre filmmaking made by someone who clearly enjoys the form.
