Jason and the Argonauts is Ray Harryhausen's masterpiece. Bernard Herrmann composed the score in his fourth and final collaboration with Harryhausen.

Don Chaffey directed Jason and the Argonauts and One Million Years BC, both with Ray Harryhausen effects, and later worked extensively in American television including Charlie’s Angels.
