Actor: Thomas Mitchell

Thomas Mitchell appeared in Stagecoach, Gone with the Wind, Mr Smith Goes to Washington and Only Angels Have Wings in 1939, which is possibly the strongest single year any character actor has had. He won Best Supporting Actor for Stagecoach.

He was among the first performers to win an Academy Award, an Emmy and a Tony, completing the set before the term EGOT existed.
