Teri Garr was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Tootsie and appeared in Young Frankenstein, Close Encounters and Mr Mom. She began as a dancer, appearing in nine Elvis films uncredited. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and became a prominent advocate after going public in 2002, having concealed it for years.
