Dune (1984)
Seen four times, dated but good for its time. Visuals are still strange in ways no modern adaptation has matche.
Actor: Sting
Sting fronted The Police and has one of the most successful solo careers in popular music, and the acting has been intermittent. Dune gives him Feyd-Rautha in a costume that has outlived the film’s reputation, and Quadrophenia and Brimstone and Treacle gave him earlier work. He has said he takes screen roles mainly out of curiosity.
