Stephen Tobolowsky has appeared in more than two hundred films and television shows, and is universally recognised without being widely known by name.

Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day occupies about four minutes across the film and is the most remembered thing in it after Bill Murray, largely because the character is impossible to escape.
