Stephen Root played Milton in Office Space, whose muttering about a stapler became one of the most quoted things in American comedy, and the character originated in animated shorts.
He appeared in NewsRadio, and voices Bill Dauterive and Buck Strickland in King of the Hill, playing both in the same scenes. Barry won him an Emmy nomination, and he has worked in most of the Coen brothers’ recent films.
