Saffron Burrows was a model before acting and appeared in Circle of Friends, Wing Commander and Deep Blue Sea, the last giving her a marine biologist whose experiment causes the entire problem.
The Bank Job and Troy filled out the film work, and Boston Legal, Agents of SHIELD and You gave her substantial television. She is British and has worked on both sides of the Atlantic throughout.
