Actor: Noomi Rapace

Noomi Rapace played Lisbeth Salander across the Swedish Millennium trilogy, training in kickboxing and getting genuine piercings for the role, and her version is generally preferred to the American remake.

Prometheus gave her a Ridley Scott lead, and the self-administered surgery sequence is the best thing in that film. She is Swedish, spent part of her childhood in Iceland, and works in several languages.
