Michael McKean co-created and starred in This Is Spinal Tap, largely improvised, and co-wrote its songs. Better Call Saul gave him Chuck McGill across four seasons, a performance of intellectual cruelty that is the best work of his career. He was the first Spinal Tap member to host Saturday Night Live.
