Actor: Lois Maxwell

Lois Maxwell played Miss Moneypenny in fourteen consecutive James Bond films, from Dr. No to A View to a Kill, more than any other performer in the series.

The role was almost entirely confined to an outer office, and she asked repeatedly for more to do without success. She was Canadian, lied about her age to join the Canadian Army entertainment corps at fifteen, and later worked as a newspaper columnist.
