Actor: Laura Harring

Laura Harring played Rita in Mulholland Drive, a woman with amnesia who takes her name from a Rita Hayworth poster, and the performance has to work both as an innocent and as something else entirely in the film’s final act.

She was Miss USA in 1985, the first Latina to hold the title. Willard and Nancy Drew gave her further film work, and she has worked increasingly in Europe.
