Actor: Klaus Maria Brandauer

Klaus Maria Brandauer won international recognition for Mephisto, playing an actor who collaborates with the Nazi regime for his career, and the film won Best Foreign Language Film.

Out of Africa brought a Best Supporting Actor nomination, and Never Say Never Again gave him a Bond villain played with unusual instability. He is Austrian, teaches at the Max Reinhardt Seminar, and has directed for stage and screen.
