The Mummy Trilogy (1999-2008) Review
The Mummy trilogy is one of the most enjoyable adventure franchises of the late 1990s and 2000s and one of the more successful examples of what mainstream. Stephen Sommers wrote and directed the first two films.
John Hannah appeared in Four Weddings and a Funeral, reciting the Auden poem that caused a genuine surge in that collection’s sales, and The Mummy gave him a franchise. Spartacus and Damages gave him television leads. He is Scottish and was an electrician before training as an actor.
