Actor: Jessica Harper

Jessica Harper played Suzy Bannion in Suspiria, carrying a film in which the plot is close to incidental and the experience is entirely colour and sound.

Phantom of the Paradise gave her a singing lead, and she does her own vocals throughout.

Stardust Memories and My Favorite Year fill out the range, and she has since become a successful children’s music recording artist. She appeared in Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria remake in a different role.
