Harry Hamlin played Perseus in Clash of the Titans, working opposite Ray Harryhausen’s stop-motion creatures with nothing on set to react to. LA Law gave him a long television run, and he was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1987, which he has been good-humoured about ever since.
