Goldfinger (1964)
1964 Guy Hamilton Bond film with Sean Connery facing gold-obsessed Auric Goldfinger and silent assassin Oddjob. Goldfinger is Guy Hamilton's 1964 British spy film adapting Ian Fleming's 1959 novel.
Gert Fröbe played the title role in Goldfinger, and his voice was dubbed because his English was limited. He had joined the Nazi party as a young man but had also sheltered two Jewish people in Berlin during the war, which was verified and led to a lifted Israeli ban on his films.
