Famke Janssen played Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye, a villain whose method is physically absurd and who commits to it entirely, and it remains among the more memorable Bond antagonists.

She then played Jean Gray across the X-Men films, a role that becomes the trilogy’s antagonist by the third entry.

She was a model in the Netherlands before acting, studied literature at Columbia, and has directed one feature.
