Actor: Eric Stoltz

Eric Stoltz was cast as Marty McFly in Back to the Future and shot for five weeks before being replaced by Michael J Fox, footage of which exists on the film’s later releases.

Mask brought him serious attention, playing a boy with a facial disfigurement under extensive prosthetics, and Pulp Fiction gave him the drug dealer with the adrenaline shot.

He has since become a prolific television director, working on Glee, Madam Secretary and many others, which now occupies most of his career.
