Gremlins (1984)
Gremlins is a Christmas horror comedy disguised as a family film. Steven Spielberg produced it through Amblin Entertainment.
Dick Miller worked for Roger Corman from the 1950s onward and became a good luck charm for the directors who came out of that school, appearing in films by Joe Dante, James Cameron and Martin Scorsese.
A Bucket of Blood gives him a lead as a busboy who becomes a celebrated sculptor by killing people, which is one of Corman’s best films.
He plays a character named Walter Paisley in numerous unrelated films as a running joke, and appears in Gremlins, The Terminator and The Howling.
