Actor: Deborah Kerr

Deborah Kerr was nominated six times for Best Actress and never won, which is a record. From Here to Eternity gave her the beach scene, and The Innocents and Black Narcissus gave her the two best performances, both about repression producing something close to madness. She received an honorary Academy Award in 1994.
