Actor: Dave Goelz

Dave Goelz has performed Gonzo since 1976 and also performs Bunsen Honeydew and Zoot. He was an industrial designer before joining the Muppets, and built puppets before performing them. The Muppet Christmas Carol gives Gonzo the role of Charles Dickens narrating the story, which is the film’s structural device.
