Actor: Buster Keaton

Buster Keaton wrote, directed and starred in The General, performing every stunt himself including sitting on a moving locomotive’s connecting rod, and he never smiled on camera. He broke his neck during Sherlock Jr without realising it until years later, and his physical comedy has never been bettered.
