Billy Dee Williams played Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and returned to the role in The Rise of Skywalker nearly forty years later.

Lady Sings the Blues brought him a Golden Globe nomination opposite Diana Ross, and Brian’s Song made him a television star. He was also Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman, expecting to play Two-Face in a sequel that recast the role, and voiced the character decades later.
