Bernie Mac came from stand-up and the Original Kings of Comedy tour, and The Bernie Mac Show won him wide recognition and an Emmy nomination. The Ocean’s films gave him a supporting run, and Charlie’s Angels and Guess Who fill out the film work. He died in 2008 at fifty from complications of sarcoidosis.
