Anne Heche appeared in Donnie Brasco, Wag the Dog and Six Days Seven Nights across a few years, and won a Daytime Emmy early for Another World. Her public relationship with Ellen DeGeneres in 1997 was among the first high-profile same-sex celebrity relationships and she has said it cost her film work. She died in 2022.
