Forbidden Planet (1956) Review

Anne Francis played Altaira in Forbidden Planet, and the character’s naivety about the effect she has on the visiting crew is played with more wit than the script requires. Honey West gave her a female private detective lead in 1965, which was close to unprecedented on American television, and won her a Golden Globe.
