Under the Skin is one of the most uncompromising science fiction films of the 2010s and one of the most divisive. Walter Campbell co-wrote with Glazer, loosely adapting Michel Faber's 2000 novel.

Adam Pearson appeared in Under the Skin and A Different Man, the second opposite Sebastian Stan, and has neurofibromatosis, which both films engage with directly. He is a campaigner and broadcaster on disfigurement and disability.
