Granison Shines

Granison Shines is an American speaker, trainer, and author who specializes in personal branding and helping people and organizations adapt to change. He is the younger brother and co-author of the consultant and former Air Force officer Frank Shines, and the two collaborated on a book drawn from their family's experiences and their professional observations.

Shines works as a speaker, trainer, and online personal-branding expert, helping clients and their employees navigate the cultural and technological shifts reshaping the modern workplace. In his work he observed the same acceleration of change, and the anxiety it produces, that his brother encountered in the corporate and technology worlds.

Together with Frank Shines, he co-authored Let in But Left Out: Leadership, Faith & Knowledge in the Age of AI, Coronavirus & Fake News. The book serves as a field guide for surviving and thriving amid pandemics, rapid technological change, and social upheaval, combining the brothers' personal and family story with practical strategies for resilience and adaptation.

Through his speaking, training, and writing, Shines focuses on helping individuals build their personal brands and adapt to a fast-moving, hyper-connected age. His contribution to Let in But Left Out reflects his emphasis on faith, self-awareness, and human connection as tools for coping with disruption.
