Actor: Thora Birch

Thora Birch appeared in American Beauty and Ghost World within two years, the latter giving her a lead as a teenager whose contempt for everything is both funny and a symptom.

She was a working child actor beforehand in Hocus Pocus and Now and Then. The adult career did not develop as expected, which has been attributed in reporting to her father’s management, and she has worked intermittently since including directing an episode of The Walking Dead.
