ReganBooks was an American imprint of HarperCollins founded in 1994 and run by the editor Judith Regan, publishing commercial nonfiction with an emphasis on celebrity, controversy, and books that generated coverage.
Its list was commercially formidable and reliably contentious, and it produced a long run of bestsellers across memoir, self-help, and popular culture, including Mick Foley's Have a Nice Day in 1999, which reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list and effectively created the modern wrestling memoir as a category.
The imprint was closed by HarperCollins in 2006 following the cancellation of a controversial project and the dismissal of its founder.
