Frank Shines is the self-publishing imprint under which author Frank "Rio" Shines issues his own work. A former United States Air Force officer and business and technology consultant, Shines uses the imprint to publish his writing on leadership, technology, and adapting to change.
The imprint is the publishing vehicle behind his book Let in But Left Out: Leadership, Faith & Knowledge in the Age of AI, Coronavirus & Fake News, co-authored with his brother Granison Shines. As a private imprint, it reflects the growing trend of authors publishing and controlling their own work independently.
Rather than a traditional publishing house with a broad catalog, the Frank Shines imprint exists to bring the author's own books to readers directly, on his own terms.
