CreateSpace

CreateSpace

CreateSpace was Amazon's print-on-demand self-publishing platform, originally founded as CustomFlix in 2002 and rebranded CreateSpace in 2007 after Amazon's acquisition. From 2007 through 2018 CreateSpace was the dominant print-on-demand platform for indie authors publishing through Amazon, producing millions of paperbacks worldwide. In 2018 Amazon merged CreateSpace into Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP Print), and the CreateSpace brand was retired. Books originally published under CreateSpace remain available through KDP Print under their original ISBNs.
