Actor: Colm Meaney

Colm Meaney appeared in more Star Trek episodes than almost any other performer, playing Miles O’Brien across The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, and the character was promoted from background extra to series regular purely because he kept being used.

The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van gave him a substantial Irish film career in the Roddy Doyle adaptations.

Layer Cake, Con Air and Hell on Wheels fill out the range, and he came from the Abbey Theatre in Dublin.
