Albert Rémy played the stepfather in The 400 Blows and appeared in Truffaut’s Shoot the Piano Player and Renoir’s French Cancan. He was a fixture of French cinema in the 1950s and 1960s, usually in supporting roles requiring a certain worn geniality.
