Actor: Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy broke through in The Witch, playing a Puritan girl accused of witchcraft in a film almost entirely in period dialect.
Split, Emma and The Menu followed, and The Queen’s Gambit made her globally known, winning a Golden Globe for a series about chess that nobody expected to work.
Furiosa gave her a franchise lead with very little dialogue. She was born in Miami, raised in Buenos Aires and London, and speaks Spanish and English natively.
