How does remote ghostwriting work?
Every book starts with an hour-long kickoff to find its shape. Then we go deep, with a run of recorded interviews over Zoom, more of them for a longer book. Zoom announces the recording and asks for your consent, and I say so up front anyway. Those conversations are where your real voice and your expertise come out, and they’re the foundation for everything that follows. After each one, you get a written summary.
I use AI tools as a digital assistant to help structure the overall outline, and you approve it before any writing begins. From there we go chapter by chapter. I write each one myself and send it to you. You approve it or ask for changes, I revise, and we keep going, about a week per chapter. A 30,000-word book generally runs about four months through the writing, and an 80,000-word book takes seven to eight. None of that needs us in the same room, or the same hemisphere.

Can a remote ghostwriter capture my voice?
Yes. The voice comes from recorded conversation, lots of it, and a Zoom call records you just as well as a table in a library does. Plenty of clients apologize for their writing on the first call, or tell me they can’t write at all. That’s exactly why people hire a ghostwriter. You talk, I listen to the recordings, and the chapters come back sounding like you.
Can a remote ghostwriter handle a technical book?
