Shambhala Publications is an independent American publishing house founded in 1969 in Berkeley, California, by Samuel Bercholz and Michael Fagan, specializing in Buddhism, Eastern religion and philosophy, contemplative practice, yoga, mindfulness, and creativity. It is one of the leading English-language publishers of Buddhist literature in the world.
