Phoenix Pick is the science fiction and fantasy imprint of Arc Manor Publishers, an independent small press based in Rockville, Maryland, founded by Shahid Mahmud. Arc Manor was established in 2006, and the dedicated Phoenix Pick SF and fantasy imprint was launched in 2007 with the primary working purpose of reprinting out-of-print speculative fiction. Across the past two decades Phoenix Pick has reprinted Robert A. Heinlein, Larry Niven, Mercedes Lackey, Nancy Kress, Robert Silverberg, and many other iconic genre writers, and now also publishes new original work. Since 2013 Phoenix Pick has published Galaxy's Edge, the bi-monthly science fiction and fantasy magazine.
