Dragon Moon Press is an independent Canadian publisher of science fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy, paranormal romance, and writing-craft reference, based in Calgary, Alberta, and founded by Gwen Gades. The press is best known to working writers for the three-volume Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy series (Alchemy with Words, The Opus Magus, The Author's Grimoire) edited variously by Tom Dullemond, Darin Park, Tee Morris, Valerie Griswold-Ford, and Lai Zhao.
Its fiction list includes Tee Morris's MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe and Askana (the first novel ever podcast in its entirety), Valerie Griswold-Ford's Not Your Father's Horseman and Dark Moon Seasons, and the Rum and Runestones and Spells and Swashbucklers pirate-fantasy anthologies.
