Tampa Ghostwriter

Tampa is a great place to be a writer. There are several writing-related events, lots of creative people, and a large number of businesses that need writing help. I established my roots in the area several years ago to start a career as a ghostwriter to help entrepreneurs and businesses by writing their books to establish their brands, assert their expertise, and show their credibility.

I found out some facts about Tampa:

Tampa is the third most populous city in the state of Florida, and is located on the West Coast (the Gulf side) of the state. It’s the largest city in Hillsborough County.

Ponce de Leon, a Spanish explorer, arrived in Tampa Bay in 1513. Their focus was on Eastern Florida and they largely ignored the western areas. We remain that way until 1824, and only two months after the arrival of the first American settler, Fort Brooke was established to protect Tampa Bay.

The territory became part of the United States in 1845, and was blockaded and occupied during the Civil War. In 1884, Henry B plant extended the railroad to the Hillsborough River, which allowed the area to be developed more heavily. He built luxury hotels along the rail line to support tourism and attract visitors.

Phosphates were discovered in the area in the late 1880s, and because of that the area grew and has continued growing ever since.

The military used Tampa to send troops to Cuba during the Spanish-American war. In the 21st century, McDill Air Force Base headquarters the US Central Command and the US Special Operations Command.

The growth of the Tampa area continued in 1914 when Percival Ellicott Fansler Established the St. Petersburg–Tampa airboat line, and the building of roads allowed people to get to the area of the automobile.

As you can see, Tampa has a diverse history and is a beautiful place to live. The weather is generally fair, and the people are friendly and helpful.

Tampa is a great area for the creative arts, and is the center of a large author community.
